How to Teach Children to Save Money

We want our kids to learn to save money. However, that's much easier than it sounds! The concept of buying something tomorrow instead of today is a difficult concept for kids to master. To encourage your children to save, you may need to exaggerate the benefits for them at first.

How to teach children to save money has lots of ideas to get started. Consider matching the amount of money your child saves, cutting out pictures of items they want to save up for, and using non-monetary rewards. As they grow and learn about the value of saving, you'll be able to back off some of the extra rewards.
